I’ve been fortunate enough to work with HUNDREDS of web developers, custom software developers, digital strategists, designers and project managers over the last 18 years.
HUNDREDS. But I still maintain that a 14 year old can build your business a website. And while that’s embellishing a bit, technically I’m correct.
And you know as well as I do that your small business or scrappy marketing department, has had to employ people with another full time job to be your “IT / Web Person.”
It’s kind of crazy, when you think about it. Why is web overlooked so much?
At Data Driven Design, all of this stuff is our craft. It’s what we live and breathe. It is our life. Which is WHY we’re able to make Principle #5 a reality.
We’re all going to make mistakes, and no agency will ever be perfect, but to me there’s a HUGE gap right now in the agency world. On one end of the spectrum, you have one-man/woman shows who do this stuff as a side hustle and miss the mark for small businesses and small marketing teams needing more commitment and expertise. Then on the other side…
