Director of Pathway Women’s Business Center Joins Nashville Voice Conference as Featured Facilitator
Courtenay Rogers is the Director of Pathway WBC (Women’s Business Center), a program of Pathway Lending, a non-profit, mission-driven Community Development Financial Institution that finances businesses and strengthens communities. They focus their efforts on traditionally underserved communities. Through the Women’s Business Center, they provide training, mentoring, business development and financing opportunities for entrepreneurs at all stages of business.
Courtenay has a degree in French and Naval Science from the University of Mississippi and she served as a naval officer aboard a guided missile destroyer, the USS Grace Hopper, upon graduation. While in the Navy, she earned her Surface Warfare qualification and served as the Undersea Warfare Officer as well as the Public Affairs Officer and Tomahawk Watch Officer during Operation Enduring Freedom. Her leadership and operations experience in the Navy led to her career track in technical project management, research and consulting, specifically in digital marketing and strategy before her role at Pathway WBC.
